I really couldn't think of a song that gave me the chills when I saw this thread. Now if you asked about art, hands down it would be Van Gogh. I get big old goosebumps whenever I see his art or even talking about it. But a song just did pop into my head that does do this. I think it is because of the sailing connection as I love sailing. Also, it is a poignant song about the freedom and idealism of the early US. So I present to you -

This song has brought the best out of a number of good voices, including Linda Ronstadt, Renee Fleming, Judy Collins, and the author, Jimmy Webb. Thank you, Jimmy. It always gives me a tingle.

I love the korean song "Will be back" by Im Sun Hae because it builds up so powerfully and the lyrics are great. Also it was part of the soundtrack of a great korean drama series and played in very important scenes.
