Hundreds of titles don't show in genre view

Hi everybody!
After a while using MM5; I noticed that even though I have hundreds of titles of specificic genres, when I click on the menu "genre" and choose one - for example "Ambient" - I get only a dozen titles in the list! This affects all genres! Could it have something to do with my passage from MM4 to MM5? Anybody with a similar issue? Any ideas please? Warmest greetings from France!

in the list!
what other filters are set in "the list"?
is media categorie set to "music" (main filter for collection)?
are the missed tracks shown anywhere else?

Do you ever assign multiple Genre tags to the same track?
The MM5 Genre nodes ignore tracks with multiple Genres ... ie. these tracks are invisible in the Genre sub-node.
In MM4 these tracks were visible in the Genre sub-node in each of its Genres.
The issue is
being tracked here.
Does this issue appear to account for what you are seeing?
Thanks for reporting.

Hi André! Thanks for the answer!

There are no other filters, media category is set to music and the missing files appear only in the library in the all title view. I've been using MM4 for decades and I never had this. When I have 643 audio files tagged as Ambient, I find exactly 643 files under the node "Music/Genre/Ambient". Since I moved to MM5 it's not like that. Look at the two screen captures I attach hereby :
1. Ambient node
2. All titles node :
Thanks again!
[EDIT : I pasted two dropbox links and it didn't work; I tried with mega same thing...How can I send my screencaptures? :-/ ]

Hi Barry! Thanks for answering. No, it's not the case, at least not for "Ambient" or "Techno" where I have hundreds of tracks. When I use more than one word, I do it like this for example : "Jazz - Fusion".

here is how to
attach images to forum posts.
An image of the File Properties of one of the AWOL tracks would help.
And an image of what you are typing, and where ... eg. the right hand funnel, or the seatch control that auto-opens in the cenre of the Tool Bar.
Do you see all of your Ambient tracks if you do a search on the
right side with the following
no quotes, no embedded blanks
And|or click the Funnel, and setup the following Advanced Filter
Match ALL .. Genre contains ambient
Do either of those see more than is shown in the Genre>Ambient page?

Hi Barry! Thanks again! Here are the images :

By the way, I tried what you said. When I use the code "genre:ambient" it finds all the Ambient tracks in the library, and also when I use the simple keyword "Ambient" . But still I get only 10 titles in the "Genre" node on the left menu, like in the screen capture.

The bottom image displays Top Tracks. Click on that title and it will switch to showing all tracks. You can also switch to the
List View instead.

Thank you so much! My error was to expect similar functionning with MM4 and I didn't even see what was right in front of my eyes. I feel ashamed!
THANK YOU ALL FOR BEARING WITH ME AND HAVING HELPED!!!

The Browser View is new to MediaMonkey 5, but the List (Details in MM4) View available in MM4 is still available too, among other views.
