I have tried installing Codec 3.0.7 through clicking on the downloaded file and through updating my Codec 3.0.5 through MMW5 but can't update. Is there something new I should know? I read the Wiki but having done all that I still can't install 3.0.7. Thanks.

The downloaded file may be corrupted, try downloading again. You should be able to update directly from Tools > Addons.
