Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
Track Properties Artwork
One track of an album has no artwork.
When I select the properties of a track of this album with artwork (in tag) and check "Apply to all files in the Album/Series", the artwork is not transferred to the track without.
In a multiselection "Apply to all selected" works fine.

Check if this track does indeed have totally identical information in the album and album artist fields?
Even a change from a small to a capital letter can cause MM to not include it in the album/series.

Re: Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
I am curious. Did you mean Artist and Album Artist fields?
Re: Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
I just checked on MediaMonkey 5.0.4 and it works as expected. All files on the Album got the Artwork with this option enabled and tagging only 1 file on the Album.
This likely indicates that the files are not on the same Album as seen by MediaMonkey. If you right click on the file and use Find more from same > Album do you see the other files on the Album?
MediaMonkey sees files on the same Album when the have the same Album value and the same Album Artist value.

Re: Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
Thanks. I have seen this happen too.
Re: Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
No, MM determines album attachment by the Album (name) and Album artist field, and these must match exactly.I am curious. Did you mean Artist and Album Artist fields?
Artist field can vary within one album (per track)

Re: Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
I'd double checked these fields.
To make them equal, I'd selected all tracks of this Album and checked the box behind Artist, Album and Album-Artist in the properties.
Edit:
Only tracks, that are added later to the Album seem to be affected (I have replaced some files with better quality ones).
To replicate this:
1. Delete the artwork of one track of an album and save it to the tags.
2. Move this track per explorer to a backup folder
3. Delete the track from library
4. Move the track back to the original media folder and let MM scan the folder.
Now MM isn't able to add the artwork to this track.

Re: Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
Easier said than done.
Everytimes when I switch to "... more from the same Album", MM puts an absolutely unsuitable Artwork to all tracks of this album. (If the first track has no artwork).
(Backgroung metadata lookup = disabled)
How can I prevent MM from disturbing my artwork? (Video)
I'll try to replicate the first problem with an other album.

The Info Panel will lookup Artwork when enabled.

I must be missing something here. How can the Album (name) and Album artist fields match exactly?

Re: Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
That's why I wrote: (Background metadata lookup = disabled) , shown in the first scene of the video.
Thanks for the links to the Wiki-help.
It says:
But as you can see in the video, MM saves this nonsense in all tags of the album and overwrites the existing meaningful artwork.Note, When you use Views that contain an 'Info Panel' (i.e. live lookups of a description and artwork about Artists, Albums, etc.), then Artwork will be looked up regardless of your lookup settings. This artwork is cached and will appear as 'Unsaved artwork' in the file properties in MediaMonkey.
@Lowlander: No, it is not in "same Album". Why? I don't know.
The tags are synced, as I described before (Checkboxes in properties).
All Tracks - List View:
1. Overdrive is the affected track. When I "Find more of the same album" of this track, MM illogically shows only the other 9 tracks. But if 1. is not in the album, MM should not show the other ones.
That's very strange. May by the reason for the non-functioning of the artwork sync.
Grrrr. this proggi drives me crazy. Pic. 2 shows track 2 as missing. After switching back to the list view, track 1 was not more in the library. A rescan brought it back.
Now track 1 and 2 are in the same Album, the artwork is still not copied.
I do not feel like it anymore

@Timo_Beil I would like to understand this better too.
Re: Artwork: Apply to all... doesn't work as expected
Then likely the Album Artist or the Album doesn't match the values of the other files on the Album.
