Hello
Translated from German with Google
I have selected "constantly" as the schedule under Include files in the archive/update
in the hope that MediaMonkey will then periodically scan these folders for new files
but even after 24 hours it doesn't work if I set it at startup & the scan is constantly only carried out at startup
Do I misunderstand the function or how high is the interval stored at this point
MM version 5.0.4.2690 (portable mode)

Hallo

Re: Folder monitoring with schedule constantly does not work
The constantly should warn MM that something has been added by windows. If you add to your folder when MM is not open it will not go back and rescan the folder unless you manually ask it to. MM has to be running in order to get the notification from windows.

Maybe there is something going on here.
Mine is monitoring just fine - both while open, and at startup, but we now have two reports similarly that it is not working. See also this thread.

Re: Folder monitoring with schedule constantly does not work
Continuous does not scan at intervals, instead it only scans when Windows informs it that changes are being made to the monitored folders. So Continuous will not pick up changes made when MediaMonkey wasn't running (Startup does this) and may fail to see changes on network locations.

Re: Folder monitoring with schedule constantly does not work
That is a known issue, as Windows doesn't always see the changes made on the network. This is especially the case when another device is making the changes.

Re: Folder monitoring with schedule constantly does not work
is it possible to initiate a rescan via the windows task scheduler or a script / batch ?
