I was editing a comment for one of my tracks when it suddenly threw up this error:



I have managed to replicate it a few times:

1) Under my main music node I right clicked the column row and added the 'comment' column at the end
2) Ordered the view based on 'comment' column so all tracks with comments were displayed at the top of the list
3) Clicked into the comment field for one of the tracks (so double click, but slowly so that you can type directly into the field
4) Edited some text in the comment field and pressed enter
5) Error appeared

Hmm, that should be fixed in last version of 5.1 build 2832 What version you use?

I'm using the latest release 5.1.0.2832 (portable).

Make sure you are using Debug build and there should be mediamonke*.el file in MM folder or portable subfolder when MM crashes.

I am seeing 26D30000 here, but only from older 5.0 builds,
are you sure that you submitted this crash log?

If not, you should be able to locate it as MediaMonkeyEngine.el (see item 4A here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 30&t=86643 )

Could you please try to locate the *.el file or re-submit the log?

I'm not sure if I actually submitted that log. Whenever MM crashes with those kind of errors I find it usually hangs and I have to force quit with task manager to get back control of MM. Will have a look later and see if I can find it in my folder.

Freeze log should trigger itself after 10 Min or so. If it is not triggered a debug LOG should be created , also if not sent *.el should be there.

Have sent the .el file in support ticket #6783. Couldn't reproduce the issue today but it happened a few times yesterday.
