Is a MM Pro license a yearly subscription license?

Which MediaMonkey are you inquiring about? For MediaMonkey for Windows you can buy a version license which is valid for all releases in that version, or Lifetime license which is valid for the current and future versions.

I just bought a license for the first time on Monday. Can I upgrade the license since the new release won't count?

Regarding the first question: MMA Pro licenses are perpetual licenses.

Regarding the MMW question: The MMW Gold license that you just purchased will work for MMW 2024 (either the beta or the release version--when it gets released): https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... p?t=106053
