Apple lossless?

Post by Arafel »

Does Media Monkey not support Apple Lossless files? They don't seem to play on my phone via the Android app. Wondering if I need to convert them all to a different format.

MediaMonkey for Android only supports what is supported natively by your phone. If your phone doesn't support you'll need to convert to a format (like FLAC) that it does support.

Hi,
Yes, MM on windows support ALAC files, but MMA on Android support depends on device integrated Codecs as MMA can play only files that are natively supported on OS.

If you are uncertain, you can send us DL link to one file in support ticket and we will test and analyze on our devices.

Lastly, maybe it wold be easier to just conver ALAC to FLAC for wider support.
