How to use the monitored files dialog?

What is the right pane meant to display? It does not show the folders I have selected on the left. And how can they be of much use without showing the full path? I have many folders with names like those shown.

It depends on what's selected under Tools > Options > Layout. Be default the Playing and Preview are shown.

The Filelisting in the middle would show what's selected in the Media Tree on the left.
