I was not able to get any information from the Digital River support team.
I had been using MediaMoney 4 and then MediaMonkey 5 on my Windows 10 desktop, with a Gold licence.
I lost data when a Microsoft update crashed my device,
I installed MediaMonkey 5 on a new Windows 11 desktop. MediaMonkey restored my Gold licence. I was able to restore my saved media.
My new installation of MediaMonkey 5 did not include the Media Monkey Codec Pack 3.0.7, which I had purchased when I had moved from MM 4 to MM 5. The Addon, by member "Jiri" was last updated in 2022. It worked on my old Windows 10 device
I decided that it was better to buy Codec Pack 3.0.7 again for $19.84 (Canadian $) through Digital River MyCommerce.
My financial institution declined the charge on my credit card by Digital River for$18610.74 as a suspected fraud.
Digital River declined explain the charge or attribute blame for what may have been a hack.
Digital River has no online store, and tells me I can only order the codec by ordering the codec from the MediaMonkey Addons page

Did you buy through here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/brow ... odec-pack/

However if you already purchased it you can contact Support with your Order Number to get a new download.

My experience is that you need to contact the bank to tell them to allow the transaction when they mark one as fraud. They can be overprotective as generally they're on the hook for credit card fraud.

If mm is using digital river as payment collector should they mm not look into why the said digital river attempted to put through such a outrageous amount????

No one would be wanting to contact their bank to authorize it

We did look into this issue. Somehow, an order had been placed for a huge number of codec packs! I can only assume that this was a typo since this has never happened before or since.

Thanks. It is very good to have a logical explanation.
