Hello,
Now that I moved to syncing my DAP over WiFi (as kept having issues with usb sync and album arts - see my earlier post), I wanted to know what would be the best, most reliable way to (first time) sync my library over WiFi.
For now, I am doing it bits by bits, as quite a few times, some tracks brought errors and I have nearly each time to redo the sync.
What would you recommend, chunk by chunk or whole library at once?
Also not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this is just due to my device loosing from time to time the WiFi connection, or this connection to not be very stable, but what could be the reasons that most of the time quite a few tracks are not sync and are bringing error messages at the end of the sync?
Any help/hint would be welcome
Thanks
René

What exact errors do you get and which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey?
If wi-fi is unstable I'd try to troubleshoot that and see if you can move your device closer to the router, if a reboot helps, see if you can remove any interference (like microwaves between wi-fi and device).

Thanks for the answer!
I have a suspicion, and I believe you are right on potential issue with WiFi.
I have 2 WiFi with 2 different SSIDs. My DAP running MMA and my PC running MMW had both WiFi setup.
I removed one the WiFi from both and resyncing.
It's running now since a few hours and it looks like the sync is going smoothly without "interruption".
So maybe PC and/or DAP were switching between networks during sync?
I'll wait until the sync is done and will check if all was transferred. I'll post the result later.
I'm using latest official builds for both MMW (5.0.5.2695) and MMA (2.0.1.1210)

Sorry didn't answer to you question. At the end of my test sync I got the message that X tracks were downloaded and Y failed to download (or something similar)
Re: Best way/recommended way to WiFi sync huge library
Still not fully done syncing my complete library.
But good news the WiFi network thing was most probably the issue.
Already synced ca. 200gb without any issue/interruption. Perfect!
(I will just need several days to finish transferring my 1.2 TB of flac).
Thanks again for the hint!
Thread can be closed I guess.

Hi,
Try MM 2024 as improves WiFi sync too.
