Hi,
I‘ve a big library and want to sync about 35000 songs to my iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB as AAC files. Now I‘m at ~30.100 files and ~600GB free space. But no new files will be synced. Mediamonkey just everytime starts a resync of latest files, but they don‘t appear on my phone. I observed it with a few test runs. Some are deleted from the phone, and a few new ones are added because I use autoplaylists. But generally, it stays around 30,100 files.
I got iOS 18.1 and newest Monkey 2024 version.
Monkey or iPhone issue?

To start, are you sure more files are really selected to be Synced?

Re: Monkey or iPhone issue?
Yes, I have . Here’s my scenario: I have a whole bunch of autoplaylists. Some based on artists, others on static playlists. What they all have in common is that they either include highly rated songs (3 stars and above) or unrated titles. This automatically means that poorly rated songs are removed from the iPhone over time. This has worked quite well so far. Recently, however, I noticed a problem. An autoplaylist, limited to 20 random songs, suddenly only contained 10 titles. I first looked for a problem within the playlist configuration. MediaMonkey, however, showed the playlist correctly with 20 titles. After a resync, it was suddenly 8 titles, and after another, 12. I then deleted the playlist manually from the iPhone, as I suspected the error was there. After the next resync, there were 4 titles. I tried renaming the playlist, changing the configuration, dancing naked under the full moon, and all sorts of voodoo stuff. But nothing worked. So, I deleted all songs and playlists from the iPhone because I suspected the error was in the iPhone’s database. I reloaded everything in several steps. And at some point, I faced the same problem again. The playlist consisted 15 titles. During this sync, I noticed something. MM wanted to sync more songs from a recently added playlist that should already have been on the iPhone. This behavior reminded me of a fake SD card. You know, the ones sold with 2TB but actually have only 8GB, causing new files to overwrite the old ones. I then noted the number of songs on the iPhone, created a new playlist containing ~160 new songs, and marked it for sync. MediaMonkey also showed the sync for these files, but after the sync, they were not on the iPhone. And the number of titles remained almost the same, with a slight difference. However, the iPhone still has enough storage space left. So, that can’t be the reason. I suspect it has something to do with iOS 18.x. I believe this issue did not occur before. Perhaps I just didn’t notice it.Lowlander wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 3:45 pm To start, are you sure more files are really selected to be Synced?

Please capture the Sync in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86643

I will do that. However, I will probably only have time to do it on the weekend or next week.Lowlander wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 1:28 am Please capture the Sync in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86643
