Are you referring to the Title tag or the Filename?

Title tag
Re: Change Title to <Track #> - <Album>
There is no feature to merge 2 tags into 1 tag. However there is Auto=Tag from Filename that maybe could do the job if the filename is formatted correctly.

Thank you. What is a correct way to name a file.
Re: Change Title to <Track #> - <Album>
There is no 'correct way'. ie. whatever works for you is the correct way. I do recommend to have basic tag info in the folder/filename, like Artist, Track# (and Disc#), Title and Album.
In the case of using Auto-Tag from Filename it would only be useful if you have <Track #> - <Album> in that format in the filename.

Cool. That's How i have it set up.
Incidentally, I found that renaming filenames using MM is extremely slow. Is that typical? Not sure if there are reasons for it. I found powername in Powertoys much better for my use.

How does it compare and where (what media) are the files stored?

Forgive me. I'm not sure I understand the question.
Using powername of powertoys allowed me to rename the a folder in 1 second. In MM, it can take 20 minutes to rename files in a folder.
Files are on a local hardrive.

How many files? Could a difference be, that you're renaming a folder in PowerAmp vs. moving files in MediaMonkey. The latter would take longer.

Purely curious as to why you want both <track #> and <track name> both in the Title Tag?

When looking at larger lists, to be able to different the tracks of same numbers between albums. Not totally needed, though.

You can enable the Album column (if it isn't) and move the Album column if you want it closer to Title or Track#.
I personally would avoid messing with tags intended purpose.

Thanks. Appreciate the input. I only pick up library organization every few years...I'll go with your suggestion.
