I`ve been using V 1 Build 1.263.
Can I install the latest V over this. Or do I need to do a clean install.
I would prefer not to lose my data.roncj

Yes, definitely, you can always install a newer version over the older one. Database is always automatically updated. However is it a good idea to backup the database (the update isn't dangerous, but as any important data, even Songs-DB database should be backed up).
