Run MMW5 along side MMW2024?

G'day all,

1 - Is it possible to install MM2024 and keep MM5 as well?
2 - Will MM2024 'see' the MM5 database during install and offer to convert?

I currently run MM4 & MM5 on the same PC, as MM5 lacks some basic functionality, which to date has not been added. So I would like to install MM2024 to see for myself what has been changed/updated/removed, as the link to the 'What New' takes to the request/errors page.

Any insight would be helpful,

During install you can install 2024 as a portable installation, that will keep create a new db and uses the the files.

What options are you missing?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I miss the External Tools more than any other tool.

But I wanted to try MM2024 for myself before removing MM5. Still keeping MM4 though.

I think you can easily edit "<MM INSTALL FOLDER>\SampleScripts\burn2MM4\" to execute any External tool from MM5+
