[SOLVED] Playlists change to alphabetical order when synced to Android from Windows.

Please help.

The Problem: When I sync my playlists from Windows to Android, my playlist order is changing to alphabetical in the Android app. I want them to stay in the custom order they are on Windows. This is a new issue. My syncs worked fine for a long time, and now it does this alphabetical thing.

Versions: I sync my playlists from MediaMonkey 2024.0.0.3082 on Windows 11 Home to the Android app version 2.0.3.1226.

Syncing: I only sync Library --> Device, not Device --> Library. The only checked sync box is "Playlists."

This is already fixed in latest MM 2024.1 versions that you can download from viewtopic.php?t=86639&sd=d

I downloaded and installed the new version on Windows.

I connected my phone and clicked Sync Now.

The out-of-order playlists are unchanged on my phone. Should the sync have corrected those playlists?

Delete playlists only from phone and try again, if content of playlists has not been changed it is recommended to delete playlists on device and resync.

Just want to say thanks. I had the same problem (not alphabetical, but seemingly random order). And installing the latest version, deleting the playlists, and re syncing has fixed it.
