Is there a way for the auto-synchronization list to appear as a node (or has someone written a script for this)?

I have a verrrry large library and am working on finally getting everything organized properly (which was impossible before I discovered MM), but in the meantime, I'd like to organize the albums I synch to my device before I get to organizing the rest. Is there a way to show which albums I have synchronized to my device appear in a node where I can edit them separately from the rest of my library? I'm not sure if this is possible currently (I keep discovering features MM has that I wasn't aware of), but if it is and I'm missing it please let me know, or if someone has written a script or something that can achieve this, please point me to it. Thanks.

I don't think that this is possible as MediaMonkey doesn't keep a history of synchronized tracks (correct me if I'm wrong).

But if you synchronize a playlist or have some criteria you could use that playlist to find songs that are probably on the device.

Well, in the Auto-Sync list for each device you have the option of checking which artists or albums you want to be automatically synchronized to your device, and the albums or artists that were checked are stored, so though it doesn't keep a list of which tracks are synchronized in other ways, it does keep a list of which tracks are auto-synchronized. Depending on how this was implemented I don't think it would be that difficult to have this information also appear as a node. Perhaps this should be moved to wishlist?

Yes, there is certainly (in MM2.5) a database table (DeviceTracks) which contains the list of which tracks have been synched to what devices (if you have MS Access you can even open the database and look). Not so easy in MM3 yet.

I don't know how you would make it appear as a node in the tree though, since I don't know if there are even script handles to get at that particular table or its contents.

Note there are several DIFFERENT things we could be discussing here - what MM thinks it SHOULD autosynch, what it believes it HAS autosynched, and then 'what is actually on the device' (which you can look at with MM, when the device is connected, and which may bear no relationship to the other two!)
