Freezing during import?

Post by Brian Esser »

i have a library of just over 60,000 song files. I am running Windows Vista Premium Home 32bit on a new Dell Inspiron with Intel Dual Core with 2 gigs of ram.

I am running MediaMonkey 3.0.0.1074 and have tried previous versions. The issue is when i go to import my tracks. It freezes to a halt on or around the 6,000 track mark. It's never on the same track, sometimes it's song #6008 and next time it is song #6010.

What could be causing this? The files it freezes on are NOT corrupt and have been verified.

Thanks!

And a debug log of 1 or 2 scans would be probably even more useful.

lmfao...
60,000 via yousendit?
the premium is only 2 gb
I am guessing with 60,000 he has something like 300 gb's.
You really think he will send you 150 separate mails?

Just incase he is reading this thread again....
I have a lot of patience and could wait for 150 mails from you

Whatever... please send it -- if yousendit.com doesn't work, you can try rapidshare.de or another similar service.

[quote="Brian Esser"]i have a library of just over 60,000 song files.

Hhmmm just database or song files??

He did say when scanning his files it stopped at about 6000. And wont pass that point.
Therefore, the post was about the amount of music files he/she has.

It was an intentional joke. He did say song files. That is why I also said he could send them to me....
