The problem isn't fixed because I just read your post and I have Win 2k so I will be looking throught the readme section to try and determine what to do for my system. I do have multiple drives, here is the catch...The primary drive is IDE the other is SCSI (Burner). So one the story goes I just thought about it and when I put the CD in the SCSI drive, I don't get the Free DB, but the CD functions normally. I can play it no problem, The IDE Drive (Normal CD ROM) gives me an error "You device or driver does not support the RAW_READ command." So I am not sure exactly what this means as I am not a windows probrammer, but it seem that there was a method call that the driver hasn't got a clue about and ended up causing the Drive not to function properly and play the disc. This is the first time that I have ever seen this issue. I am going to try to update the driver as this may, probably is, a completely separate issue from Free DB not working. Again I will hunt around, but if you have anymore info on this other glitch drop me a line when you find the time....no rush though.
Thank a bunch,
Christian
