Level playback volume

I was wondering if mm8 uses something different than replaygain for leveling the volume of the songs
because I have my entire music library tagged with proper replaygain values and it doesn't seem to be a difference with volume leveling on or off.
Enabling or disabling doesn't seem make a difference.

Any help would be appreciated because volume leveling is a must for me.



Also...any idea when the new version will be out?
