Sync format rules not being followed

Hello all. I have some problems with converting the synced content from my MediaMonkey server to my Android device. It bypasses the conversion rules and copies the content as plain FLAC format.

I have:
  • MediaMonkey 4.1.0.1692 Gold on my PC
MediaMonkey Beta 1.0.5 Pro on my Android Phone
I have set up the MediaMonkey UPnP server and attached my phone to it, set the download location (./sdcard/Music/) and select the folders I want to sync from the server. Also, I have set the conversion rules, as shown below (all my collection is in FLAC):

But when I try to sync, all the content is download in FLAC, instead of doing the conversion to MP3 CBR 128kbps, as set on the conversion rules. I have also tried to set particular conversion rules to the Android device as shown below in case it could help:

But again, FLAC is the format the content comes to the phone.

Is there anything I am not doing right?

I have tried to sync over another Android device, but the same case occurs.

Thanks in advance.

Yes--it looks as if you're setting the auto-conversion rules for UPnP sharing, when in fact what you want to do is set the auto-conversion rules for Synchronization.

You can do so via Tools > Options > Portable device sync
Then Select <your device> & click Configure...
Click the Options tab, and on that tab click Auto-conversion to configure the auto-conversion settings for that device

Hopefully that clarifies...
