MMW states that the server is "running".

HOWEVER i cant actually see the server on the computer that it is running on and therefore the TV that i a trying to stream to cant see it either. i have checked my firewall logs and there doesnt seem to be any "OUT" activity with the MMW nor the IP address and port number that was assigned.

i have tried manually trying to input both port number (new one) and tried using a manually input IP address.
i have tried reinstalling MMW and still no joy.

the stupid thing is that the tv was streaming fine about 5 days ago but now all of a sudden it has decided to stop.

it seems to be a MMW issue cause as i said it wont even pick up its own server.

any help would be appreciated

MMW can only pick up it's own server if you set it to port 4000.

To clarify above state. MMW filters its own server to avoid looping and only if you set port to 4000 you will tel MMW that you want to debug MMW server internally and than it is show.

Fot Addotional tests and not seeing on other devices try to set port 5000 as that is common UPnP Port and many Routers allow it for Multicast announcing.
