Unable to get into options/setting menu [#13248]

hi im new to the forum first time ive had to ask for help due to it being a great app....
ive installed the latest version of the free and pro app on my alcatel pixi 4 6.0" device running android lollipop 6.0 and i am unable to access the settings menu as the icon does not appear next to the search icon in the top right of the screen. I have also tried to rotate the screen in all directions and still wont appear. Works fine however on my android 4.0 & 5.0 devices.
