Amazon tagging doesn't work for album art only

2.5.2 release:

If I check ONLY album art after it's been found, I can download it (if I check "ask me what to do") when I hit auto tag, but if the default action is to "save it to tag (if possible)", it does absolutely nothing. I must select the matching track title if I want to get the album art.

Is this supposed to act this way? What if I don't want to download the track title information, but JUST the album art?

Hello? Is anyone aware of this bug?

Kind of annoying to have to select a track in order to get the album art downloaded. Is this the only way it works? Or is my thinking wrong on this?

I think that it should be that way. You can apply amazon auto-tag to a few tracks, one track or all tracks you used in search. If the search finds results for your tracks (ie track titles are also shown and are the same) the tracks are auto-selected. In other cases you'll need to select them (there is a select all button). I think that this way is logical.

But Lowlander, what if I don't want to rename ANY tracks, but want to apply the album art *only* with the associated tracks? What's a normal, reasonable kind of thing to want to do... I've already named my tracks properly and don't want to overwrite them, but I *do* want the album art.

Do you never do that?

Yes, of course... even Web Sources Tagger can do that!

ADDITION: This is not spam ;)

You need to select the tracks in the bottom part of the window and de-select all fields in the upper part (except album art). This way it only adds album art, which is the way I use it myself. I don't allow other information from Amazon to be tagged.

If you only want album art, you should seriously use the Trixmoto's google art finder script. It works awesome with a minimum of user interaction (simple drag and drop).
