Sometimes when I sync, An album won't show up.

Hey guys
Sometimes when I auto sync one of my albums doesn't show up. It's a large album because all my random downloaded music is in this "album". After syncing it a few times, it finally shows up. Is there a reason for this?
the songs show up in my playlists, but it doesn't show up when I look at my "albums". The album simply isn't there. Why is that?
