Custom Views broken many ways [#16485]

Custom Views are ready for testing? ... seems ultra fragile
- #1. Can create a custom Grid by Album view, but you don't persist the sort sequence ... example Albums sub-node; set sort by Release Date or by AlbumArtist , press OK ... sort sequence is ignored, and is not persisted ... ie. is always by Album
- #2. many crashes when creating views, and when changing to custom views that I have previously created
- #3. MM5 either gets into an endless error-->recovery-->error situation after these dumps ... or the whole of MM5 freezes, including the Restart button ... always needs kill by Task Manager
- an example ... Album sub-node is in Grid by Album view, grid sorted by AlbumArtist ... change to a custom Grid view .. nb. when I created the custom view I requested sort by Release date, but you persisted it as sort by Album ... When I try to switch to the custom view I get this dump ... and then a few seconds later I get this other dump ... UI is frozen, I can see the Restart button, but it, and everything, is inactive
- sometimes when I change to a view, which has Column Filter turned on, the view changes, the column grid is populated, but the main panel is empty ... F5 refresh does not fix .... if I select a row in one of the Column Browser columns, MM5 crashes
- the overall design seems half baked to me ... nb> all of this comment relates to just the Manage Views dbox ... it is confusing where a Grid custom view that I create in Alltracks sub-node, is visible, in the Manage Views facility, when viewed from Albums sub-node (as an example), but is not visible in Artists sub-node ... after a lot of looking and thinking, I can see why, but it is confusing ... it would be better if all custom views were visible in the Manage View facilities, in all sub-nodes .... but were deactivated (greyed out) in sub-nodes where they were not applicable .... and a tooltip for each showing their applicable nodes would be helpful too
