-When MM5 is closed, attempting to open an MMIP usually causes the splash screen to show for about a second, but then it closes.
While testing for reproducibility, one of the times, the splash screen stayed open indefinitely before I force-closed it. All other times it closed after about a second.

-And related to MMIPs, it would be nice if they had an icon on windows. If you don't have one yet, here's one I threw together if you'd like to use it:

For me MMIP have own icon, but I like yours one too.

Are you sure that MM is assigned for .MMIP file type as default app?

Looks like it only assigns an icon when MM4 is set to the default app.
As soon as I set the default app back to mm5, it goes back to a blank icon.

For me the icon is there for both MM4 and MM5.

But I can confirm the crash when MMIP is associated with MM5 and MM5 is closed while double-clicking the MMIP.

Hmm. Could it be that I need to completely uninstall and reinstall my non-portable version of MM5, for the icons to show up on MMIPs?
