which one should I use

hı everybody
I just have a question that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I went into the ubuntu software page as I need a problem to play my mp3's. On windows I use an awesome program called media monkey. It can do a huge amount of things,such as sort edit rip audio cd's. Convert format of files as well as burn to cd/dvd and more. Now I know media monkey doesn't (or I can't get it to)run on ubuntu. Is there some other problem that I can get that do some of those things I said? As when I went onto ubuntu software there was quite a few programs on there. I was just hoping someone knew of something to save me installing all of them and working out which one I need to keep.
