Tagging caused White Screen [#17266]

I was doing tag management while playing music. then got this error. After sending the screen went white

this happened several times ... each requiring a taskMgr kill ..

I tried playing a single track, and at the same time retagged it ... no issue from that simplistic test.

Yeah 2286
I was changing tags on hundreds of songs ... replacing Album Artist with Various. I sent one ID but most time it just goes to white screen

Hi,
We're having trouble replicating this although it does seem to be related to some sort of interaction between tagging and playback. Can you:
a) give us any additional hints: e.g. output plugin, type of file playing / input plugin used, types of tracks being tagged ?
b) send us a debug log illustrating this?

Please try to catch this in debug log (item 4b
viewforum.php?f=30 ) with DbgView started prior to MM5.
The CB59D0AE shown that there was a freeze in output plugin when trying to play a file, but it is unclear which file it was as the frozen playback thread already existed for some time.

I will try to duplicate tonight ... it takes quite a while to have it happen but will do

I tried to replicate the problem and have been unable to do so. I will try again this weekend.

I am also getting this pretty consistently... I guess its a known bug, but no solution? Kind of annoyed, I should have just stayed with 4.

Which build (Help > About) are you using? Make sure it's 2427:
