hi,

i hope you r fine :)

1) right click a track / "explore in folder" needed. (opens in explorer,,,)

2) give some linux <3

3) the click & hold issue :

i cant almost never drag correctly a track to a playlist, without it select oters tracks when dragging L,R,up,down or diagonals > always almost a selection rectangle.

learn me how to drag or fix it...

4) double cliking a track to play it makes "edit text" ... (very often,,, still that double clik issue,,,)

plz fix or edit double clik time latency according AS windows default setting...

PS: got mobility pbs, im using a xbox pad as mouse+keyboard with "controller companion" to emulate m+k... my pad is NEW from 2 weeks, buttons work perfect, dunno for 3.. 4... issues :/ (edit: itunes does not have these issues, should work like with itunes..)

can help with video if needed..

thx.

"edit> 5) convert to flac (uncompressed) needed, 8 is not good for me, make conversion like in "dbpoweramp",,,(no compression)

1) Right click, Find More from Same > Folder (Explorer).

4) Right click, Play Now.

hi, 4 too long, should play on double clik like on itunes. after double clik latency it opens text editing, make it like itunes,🙏

4) It does, depending on Default Action: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... k_Settings It doesn't seem to require a too quick double click, but as slow double click is also a feature you can't do it too slow, which is why right click > Play Now is a workaround if you can't double click fast enough.

You are right that there is really something bad with the latency.
Just tested and I can confirm that I often ends up playing the file together with transition to the inline edit state.
Watching the code the current timeout is 300 milliseconds (which should be increased to 500 ms per https://docs.microsoft.com/cs-cz/window ... dfrom=MSDN ).

I re-opened https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=15656 to fix this

FLAC is _loseless_ format, so I don't understand what do you mean by "uncompressed flac" ?

5) FLAC is a compressed, but lossless format (no audio data is lost, unlike with a lossy format like MP3). Uncompressed would be WAV, but that has poor tagging supported. You can change the compression level to 0 for the least amount of compression.

hi Ludek,

if i convert flac to 0 ratio compression it sounds like a 20 € phone, 8 is the max quality compression for flac, in dbpoweramp there is a scale between 0 to 8 and also UNCOMPRESSED... flac can be loss if u compress between 0 - 8, but UNCOMPRESSED is really just file format convert exactly as wav & aiff.

try dbpoweramp, convert to flac "uncompressed".

even they say lossless, thats my earings.

0 lowest quality / high compression

8 high quality / almost lossless,,,,

UNCOMPRESSED is no loss / just as wav and like aiff with id3 tags, just file format change. like for android phone :)

There is no difference, just like a ZIP file doesn't loose data, compressing in FLAC doesn't loose any quality.

If you convert WAV > FLAC > WAV you end up with the same.

Compressed FLAC is no loss.

You get the same quality, just in a smaller file size due to compression as FLAC is lossless.

LowLander ! i'm sry i cant reproduce the 0-8toUNCOMPRESSED quality issue again !!!! O.o

last nights, i compressed in mm5 an aiff album to flac with 0 setting, it really sounded like 32K MP3 sh*t !!!

it's strange, but u r right !

i could not reproduce it : "low quality flac", u r true as it seems just the 0-8 scale is file size without ANY LOSS.

i will try again to find the flac issue i had last night, but it's working !
