When casting music video tracks the last few seconds (between 5-10 secs) are not played, and playback moves to the next track in the playlist. This happens with almost all tracks, but the odd few do get to the end (less than approx 1%). When it does get to the end it is always the same few tracks that do make it.

Using Chromecast Ultra & MM 5.0.1.4233 non-debug build. (Edit: build 2433...)

Files are .mp4. Tried with with cross-fade turned off, detect silence at end of track turned off and made no change.

Good thought @Peke, but same result.

Now running alpha 5.0.2.2500 debug build and the same behaviour occurs. And apologies for the earlier typo ... I was running the latest beta 5.0.1.2433.

Please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643

This will help a developer analyze what may be causing this.

Hi guys,

I recently upgraded to MM5 and when I go to cast to my Vizio Smart TV, everything works fine but it abruptly skips to the next song when there is 10 seconds left on every song. I've checked the player settings and the stream settings and there is nothing I can see to fix this. I disabled and enable crossfading to see what that would do, and does the same thing on both. I have not tried video or anything. Just using music.

It appears MM5 is relatively new, so not sure who has experienced this. The Vizio TV, model is V505-G9. The Chromecast built-in to the TV is 1.40.169511

Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance
