If you receive a message that activation failed, it means that our licensing system doesn&#8217;t have a record of your MediaMonkey Gold license username\/key as entered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If activation fails, it can be because:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It&#8217;s a transient issue with our licensing system and can be resolved by trying to &#8216;Activate&#8217; again the next time you run MediaMonkey.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your key was changed your license info is out-of-date. Try using our  <a href=\"\/licABC\/find_license.php\">license lookup service<\/a> to find your up-to-date license.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your license was obtained from an unaffiliated third party and is invalid \/ counterfeit. This is most often the case with licenses from kinguin, blitzhandel24, lizenzguru, g2a, k4g, key city, electronic first, gamivo, and various other ebay storefronts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In such cases, Gold functionality will remain active for 14 days, giving you time to complete the registration process. To resolve this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you purchased your license from the MediaMonkey website, contact our <a href=\"\/support\/\">helpdesk<\/a> (sales) and open a ticket with the subject &#8216;Registration failed: key cannot be activated&#8217;. Provide us with your license username and key <strong>and<\/strong> the original sales receipt containing the purchase\/sales reference number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you obtained a MediaMonkey 2024 or lifetime license from a third party, it is a counterfeit license. Please consider supporting our efforts and purchasing a legitimate license from our website.
