MMWBE 0.91

by TheRocket » Sun Jan 22, 2006 12:54 am

Hi,

Just a quick note to say that an updated version of MMWBE is released!

I've added an Album Name column by request, updated some criterias in auto-playlists, and updated the download location of this project.

Thanks to everyone that use my little piece of software :-)

MMWBE Beta version 0.90 released today!

by TheRocket » Fri Oct 15, 2004 11:05 pm

Sorry to keep everyone in the dark :-S

I'm very busy with my job and friends... For this project, I'm currently debugging the autoplaylist generation... There is many types of conditions, and trying them all is not very pratical... I'm currenly releasing a BETA version, 0.90. You can get it here: http://rocket.dyndns.info/mp3manager/mmwbe_v090.rar (300Ko). if you find an auto playlist that doesn't work well, please contact me and tell me the criteria you used. I will try to improve that.

Please read the Readme file included for more informations about Installation and contacts.

I'm not sure what stage TheRockets project is at, but here is a similar project I created for MM: http://www.songs-db.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2330. Hope that it helps.

probably the ASP version. My Windows XP
PC already has IIS and VB.Net 2003 on it.

Promoting MediaMonkey plugins

Just an fyi:

If you want to post your plugins to the plugins page on the MM site just let me know. We'd be glad to post it!

I'll probably just post the site as a zip file for people to download.

Unfortunately I'm not close to being finished. I have to create some more statistical type pages. And I want to create a create playlist module, which users could use to play the songs remotely.

Updates

by TheRocket » Sat Aug 07, 2004 8:56 pm

Hi there!

Updated my site (Search section, stats page, about page), and source code is coming very soon!

Lowlander, how do you will distribute your work? (Make a web site to promote it? Add it to a plugins page? I'm very near this step, and I'm looking for distribution and promoting options...

by Lowlander » Thu Jul 29, 2004 10:26 am

I'm considering to create pages for the main nodes (like artist, album) with general information (not tracklistings).
I'm not sure which way to go yet with this.

It looks really great and I am looking forward to this. :D

But I have one question: Would it be possible to add a functionaltity that I can list only artist albums year without any tracks?

That's because I only have complete albums on my PC and I want to have an overview of all albums I have from different artists

The ASP code or the PHP code??

wheres the code?

by daveis » Wed Jul 21, 2004 10:46 pm

I, too, would really like the code to do this.

by Lowlander » Wed Jul 21, 2004 11:15 am

Not from my side, sorry.

But do PHP hosters accepts MS Access? And another thing is that MM only runs on windows platforms, which in turn run ASP. In this case my project doesn't use MM itself (at this point) just the DB.
