just to let you know the bad pixelation images i have said in this thread are on this computer due to the fact some one had turned the msn accelerator for downloading on and that messes up the images.

wrong for this computer here the gif's are still messed up it has to be some thing other then mm3. as all the animated gif's and other small images are being shown in 16 color or 256 color and are not animated.
just one image. so if this is only on this computer it would have messed up the images shown above. which could have happened but i can't tell unless some one else reports about this error of bad pixelation on their computer. :o

if this is a program error it has to be in the beta 3 version also
because that is the only one i had on this computer with this flat panel.

the gif's seem to be cleaned up now and working again.
so this would also seem to confirm the program error and not windows error. because i have run a system cleaner several times on this computer now and that would have gotton any bad reg keys out of the system.

how ever the error being in beta 3 did not show up on an over install of beta 2 with the beta 3, just this new install of beta 3.

but the bad pixelations are now gone on this persons flat panel. :o

cowboy,
this is a program's bug, not a skin problem.
It happens with all skins, on specific MM settings (Minimize to MicroPlayer = on) when you single click on taksbar button (not on MiniPlayer's Minimize glyph) to minimize MM to MicroMonkey.
Petr is working on this already.

found some more out on this pixelation it seems to be on the lower colored images the smilies seems fine and the higher 16 million color images seem to be fine its just the ones that look like they are all the old win98 made ones or ones that were made to work on win98 that seem to show the messed up pixelation, at least that is what is going on with this flatscreen.

but i am not sure how the ones for the monkey code below were made, and they are all messed up like a bad kindergardner's watercolor image. :o

i came back in to post this little item i just seen.

but your image number one.

i am finding this with all the images online at any site they are all pixelated.

including the monkey logo here.

i just added mm 3 beta 3 to this computer i will take it out and see if it is media monkey causing this or some windows update? :o

this is every image on this computer that has to be blown up to a larger size that is being pixelated even after i took out the mm 3 beta 3.

i did turn on clear type so the fonts on this flat screen are looking good
but all the small images that are inlarged are bad to very bad pixelation so i am thinking it is an ms update from the last time that did this since i just got last months updates on this persons computer.

some one else out there that has not got last months updates from ms updates should check and see if their images are bad.

this is a size error as in too small of image being used in skin

then the user having too large of screen and making the image apper to be pixelated or fuzzy.

it is not the same as fuzzy fonts it is an image size thing how ever the one code is showing the image mulitple times that is a skinning error that was made by the author of the skin.

but knowing that it worked before i am thinking that the code is NOT in error for the skin but it might just be the monkey program not reading the skin's ini files properly.

still i have no way to double check for morten now as i am not at home and won't be for a few days or weeks i'm on a computer fixing run around the country.

just checking in the forum for info and trying to help. but the other skins do they do the same thing? maybe there is something different in the ini files for the skins that show the errors. so check all the skins you have for the same error.
let us know as this is a major error and petr will need all the info he can get to fix it.

i can't test beta 4 yet. so i can't help any more then this message petr and morten sorry. :(

When we switch from MiniPlayer to MicroPlayer and then back to MiniPlayer, the skin goes crazy.
I tested in Glided, Blue Glass and Zune skins. The error occurs with all of them.
