I think that solution would be Streaming Audio over the network and not over Remote desktop.

Output plugin As Server(ShoutCast???) and You computer uses Client that receives Stream From Remote Machine but controling Player Over Remote Desktop.

Oh no. I know it isn't MediaMonkey's fault. Other applications have shifty audio or video. I was just curious to know if anyone knew of a way to increase sound quality. I'll look into the bandwidth issue.

I haven't used Remote Desktop a whole lot, but doesn't have connection settings to manage how much bandwidth it uses? Maybe you can change the settings for the audio quality.

To make sure that MediaMonkey isn't the problem you should try an another media player and hear if that gives the same audio issues.

Remote Desktop and MM2.5

General question, though I think it is more about Remote Desktop as opposed to MM. However, the group of people here IMO are very intelligent and I hope have some advice to offer.

Since I live on my college campus, I often use Remote Desktop because it is the same network (quick connection and speed). Nevertheless, I often listen to my Library from Remote Computers in the computer lab on campus.

The problem is that the sound quality is absolute garbage and I was hoping there would be a quick fix of some sort. I try to play around with audio volumes, but no luck. The main problem is that I get a lot of white noise and feedback while listening to music.

Any suggestions? Thanks for the help. Also, move to an appropriate forum if this is not where my topic should have been posted. Thank you all.
