Subscribe Podcast dialog doesn't open

We've hopefully fixed this in RC-3 (can't be certain since we couldn't replicate flake's original problem).

The podcast which padalump mentioned is not a podcast that can be handled by Media Monkey, because there are no enclosure urls referencing to an episode that can be downloaded. There are only links to an episodes that can be watched in a web browser (e.g. http://www.ted.com/talks/view/id/178 ).

MM 3.0.0.1105
XP Home
Firefox 2.0.0.9

Same behavior with this feed:

http://www.ted.com/themes/rss/id/46

I tried to add the feed via Firefox to MM's Podcasts, but no subscribe dialog appeared.

Subscribing manually to this feed did not work neither (right mouse click on "Podcast Subscriptions" -> "Subscribe to new Podcast"). Although MM found the description of the feed, no podcasts where displayed.

This problem has occured with all podcasts I have added, including your example above.

I've just double checked all my settings to make sure I'm not being slow. I have all the relevant files associated with MM. Hmmmm. Firefox 2.0.0.9.

Strange. Has anyone else seen this?

That is strange, the subscribe dialog launches automatically in my case:

When RSS button is clicked in the browser for:

1) http://www.podcast.net/show/87518 [^]
2) http://www.podcast.net/show/59700 [^]
=> both ok, the dialog is launched / opened

Could you please give me your example when the dialog doesn't open?
so that I could reproduce.

Thanks.

Adding podcasts manually [F3958]

MM 3.0.0.1098
Vista Business x32
Firefox

When clicking a podcast rss link in Firefox, it is not immediately obvious that MM has received this request. The task bar entry flashes, but after switching to MM there is no evidence of an add podcast process.

It was only when I went through Edit>Podcast>Subscribe to add the podcast manually, that I noticed the details had appeared in the Subscribe dialogue box.

I think it would be more intuitive if the Subscribe dialogue opened automatically when a podcast link was clicked in the browser.

Minor gripe, keep up the good work.
