I have my fonts set to 120 DPI in my display properties advanced (XP)
When I first run MM3, the fonts are really tiny including in the the menus.
Turning on "Override skin theme with Windows System Theme (requires restart) does not fix the problem.
If I set the MM3 font size to "Large" and restart, the fonts
- get larger is some places
- for example the "Now playing" window
- stay tiny is other places
- eg the menus
- have a wierd "in between behaviour" in some places whereby they are tiny unless you point at them, then they become normal sized
- the library tree
- options
If I set the MM3 font size to "Extra Large" the fonts become too big everywhere and sometimes crowd each other out for example in the options all descenders are missing and you can see text like "Automatically maintain at least [5] upcoming tracks in N" and then the rest is cut off.
update re that "inbetween" behaviour. It doesn't work if the library tree entry extends past the left side because then the title becomes a tooltip instead of a hover-hotlink. It seems your hotlink control is trying to respect the font size but your tooltip control (and default label control) is not.
I would suggest as well as fixing the font size large problem, to default the font size to large for people who's Windows font size is set to large, at least in cases where they dont want skins.
