It is possible, if the window size is stored in the registry someplace. Everything else I trashed, so it can only be the registry. Let me go look. 8>.
Nope, that ain't it. However I notice it only happens if you tick 'override skin with windows system theme' (under options, skins). Also it still remembers the window SIZE, if you change it, what it doesn't remember is to start maximised.
So there you go - turn off skins and you too can probably repro the error.
