same problem

I also have the same problem but I use Mediamonkey for syncing my ipod, I use itunes or winamp for transferring videos but when I rebuild the device database with MM3 the video names become their filenames, If I only rebuild the database based on newly added tracks that doesn't happen but it doesn't fix the album art on the music either. There should be a third option for rebuilding the device database where it rebuilds it the same way as the one for newly added tracks but instead all tracks with a certain extension so it doesn't touch the M4Vs. Also when I update the album art for an item in my library, sometimes it syncs the update to the ipod when I autosync it and sometimes it doesn't, sometimes closing and opening MM or deleting and re-syncing the tracks helps, I can't tell exactly what the problem is but I think it has something to do with the timestamps when updating the files, I have it set so it updates the timestamps on edits.

I found some problems in this area, it should be all fixed in the next release.

Edit: fixed in RC5

Art is also screwed up on my iPod Nano 1st generation.

Some art is correct, most is not. One cover has replaced many different covers in one instance.

Rebuilding Nano database seems to repair correctly.

Yup, I am also seeing the same problem as described by amallen. After playing a song from my Ipod then ejecting, that album cover has overwritten several covers, while others are blank. I also confirmed that rebuilding the database does correct this.

I use MM3 to listen to music on my iPod (Classic) at work. I have no music in my library; I just use MM3 as a player. Using both MM3 RC3 and RC4, I find that my iPod album art is often scrambled after ejecting. What usually happens is the album art from those albums I have recently played in MM3 "take over" and become the album art for most of my albums. Either that or no album art shows up for some albums (and all of my albums have art). I can rebuild the device database in MM3 and all is fine until I use MM3 to play my iPod music again. I am running WinXP Pro SP2 on an HP xw8400 Workstation.
