The issue is fixed in the latest MM 3.0 beta release (see beta forum).

Since you have now confirmed the flac corruption bug still exists, can you let us know when the bug will be removed?

What MM version do you use? Please e-mail me any sample file (preferable before and after conversion) you have so that I can look into it.

Thanks,
Jiri

mm3 still corrupting flac files

okay here we go again, maybe i am doing some thing wrong.
i rip my music using easy cd creator version 11 into flac compression level 8 inc a m3u playlist and album art. i use this as it stores the cd tags i created for the albums i previously ripped rather than re typing everything in. once ripped these files play 100% fine in all players and media monkey. problem comes when i tag the file.
from here i have a folder for flac files arranged J:\flac\<album artist>\<album>\<track>. <artist> - <title>.flac
since ecde11 does not write album artists tag i use the auto tag from file name in mm3 to insert a album artist tag into the flac, looking via the folder it is stored in to know what to write as the tag.
as an example, once i do this with my cd copy of A state of trance 2007 year mix, 7-8 of the 45 track go corrupt acording to audio checker. these files will not be played and canot be converted by foobar into AAC via nero (Thanks media monkey for not intergrating this into the program as promised!).
i have samples of the files if any one wans them?
