so theres not any player that looks like a diner or guitar or semi truck or cb radio but i have made skins of all of those :D monkey is not just a player that needs to be exactly copying other hardware, i thought you knew that since you make skins.? :-?

I know it and I use this GlidedIP skin (WMP-IP with the importet miniplayer IP) but yes, Morton postet this only as preview/beta skin and I dont miss the stars rating so much but i would like to see all buttons work (playlist, volume control). Thatswhy my question/ my wish to "finish" this great miniplayer.

It would be very nice if Morton could tell us what he is going to do with this skin. Is it history or will it be done.

he already released it as an option for the Gilded skin, but the iPodTouch skin that he released with Gilded doesn't have the ratings stars like the skin pictured here does.

It would make me SO happy!
it is my one shining desire for MM3!
--to have a miniplayer as sleek and minimally branded as your IPT skin
but also that I can rate songs that are playing from the minimized player!
Please affirm that it will be easy to do, or state why it is not an option and that I must go on feeling so empty..

I only said that the voting would fasten the process as I have a lot more important stuff to do. If it isn't that popular, then it falls back. In addition, this is more fun.

So no, I will not abandon this model for this skin. However, it will be finished by the end of the week anyway - but it will be finished within a day or two if it gets enough votes.

morten instead of making images to post online to tease members and ask for a count of 60 before you make the skin.

just make the skin you know there are atleast 3 people that will get it. so make it for the 3 that really want it.

for example i made a winamp skin for a web site because 3 people wanted it.
i posted it in the web site's forum and 40 people got it there.

i posted it on winamp's site and 15,200 people got it there.
so this asking for people to post in the poll is a nice thing to get some activity in the skinning area. but they are going to get the skin if they want it.
