maybe i wasnt clear or im not sure what you are saying. So far it works for me better than without, much so. But, it only fullfills the first part of my needs.
I currently have my library in \.music\<artist>\<album> (<year>) [<Extension>]\<Track#:2> - <title>
I have music directories waiting to be imported in .\temp\music
I use MM to browse My Computer .\temp\music directories one at time and edit the tags and update if needed via web lookups. If the files are tagged correctly i right click on directories within MM and select Auto-Organize. It moves the the files into my MM music folder structure according to the \.music\<artist>\<album> (<year>) [<Extension>]\<Track#:2> - <title> auto-organize configuration. Then it fires off your script if it finds <cue, log, m3u, txt, jpg> in the directory structure and asks me if I'd like to move these as well. Then it deletes the origional .\temp\music directory once all have been moved. i repeat the procedure until all my music has been moved into the set MM music directory.
All is good so far. This makes my importing new music into MM much easier.
Now is where I loose the functionality i desire. Sometimes i decide to make changes to my folder structure or more often i notice an <artist> or <album> or whatever is spelled incorrectly. I will make changes to the tag and due to the MM File Monitoring it changes the directory name and then moves all the tracks into the new directory.
Now this is where MM fails. The old directory still has all the cue, log, m3u, txt, jpg files in it (MM only deletes the old directories if empty). I now have the correct renamed directory with all the tracks in and a leftover incorrect directory with all misc files. I have to manually browse and cut/paste all the files into the new directory and delete the old.
It would be great if whenever MM (via File Monitoring or Auto Organize) or your script attempts to delete a directory but finds files, it would ask or automatically move (depending on config) the remaining file types into the newly created directory and then deletes the old directory.
