This issue will be fixed in next release.

I am having a similar issue... I use MM (3.0.2.1134) and typically, I use the album art view. If I have a multi-disk set I am listening, and I right click on the album, it orders everything by track number. So all of the track 1's, then the track 2's etc..... I want to be able to go through the albums in track order by disk, and that doesn't seem to work in the album-art view. It also doesn't work in the album art with details view as well. HOWEVER, if I switch to the show details mode, it works just fine....

For autoplaylists, I've narrowed this down to a Random Album sort issue. The same album appears normally if the autoplaylist has no sort or Album A..Z sort.

However, double-clicking (Play Now) the correctly sorted album from Album Art view or AA w/Details view causes the album to go to the now playing window out of order. This happens from the album node and the autoplaylist.

Right-clicking the autoplaylist in the tree and choosing Play Now or Play Last (to play the entire list) will send multi-disc albums to the now playing window out of order.

Selecting all tracks in the album from the autoplaylist, AAwD view, right-clicking and choosing Play Now or Play Last sends tracks out of order to the now playing window.

Right-clicking a regular playlist in the tree and choosing Play Now or Play Last works properly.

Actually, I was too fast, I don't really see any bug there. Please send some more info, like possibly a screenshot, or even MM.DB database so that we can test it.

There really is a problem in sorting by Disc # in queries/auto-playlists, we'll look into it.

Btw, some forum topics can be missed by us, so in case you are sure there is a bug (particularly if it was confirmed in forum by other users), feel free to send it directly to us (support system).

I'll bump this during human hours. Is this being looked at?

Have any of the devs seen this and/or are they working on it? I have a lot of multi-disc sets and I have to select discs individually in order to load them properly in now playing. Really annoying!

Thank you for the consideration. :)

I split the topic as these issues are new in MediaMonkey. Sounds like a possible bug to me.

No comment on this? Even if I sort my autoplaylist manually on disc # (all tracks appear in right order) then double click the album to load it into Now Playing, it still loads in the wrong order. If I select the album from its node, and choose Play Now, tracks are in the right order. Play Last, tracks are in the wrong order though.

Something is definitely wrong with multi-disc sorting and it needs to be fixed. I can't fathom why MM can't handle multi-disc albums properly.

I'm having a lot of problems getting MM to sort multi-disc sets in autoplaylists properly. This is not a problem for portable synching since I use <filename> to stuff my Zen from MM. It is however a problem when I'm listening to autoplaylists in MM directly.

I have the following sort order:
Random Album A-Z
Disc # A-Z
Track # A-Z
I can *only* get MM to sort properly if I physically click on the disc # column in the playlist window. But of course, this resets when I exit the autoplaylist. Unfortunately, tracks still get loaded into Now Playing in the wrong order. See next post.

Is there something I'm missing for getting multi-disc sets to sort properly in autoplaylists or is this a bug?

Update: This carries over to the Now Playing window as well and that is NOT GOOD. I just added via Play Last a 2-disc album to Now Playing by selecting all the correctly ordered tracks from the album node. It added the tracks
Disc 1 Track 1
Disc 2 Track 1
Disc 1 Track 2
Disc 2 Track 2
and so on. This is also how the tracks appear in an autoplaylist and it isn't acceptable in any shape or form. Certainly this can't be intended behavior? I sincerely hope someone will fix this ASAP.
