Remember last played position
As mentioned above, it's already in MM - the settings in filters also applies to synchronization to iPods.
Skip during random play
The same.
Part of an album without gaps
MM currently sets this flag for all tracks, since we haven't found any reason why to not do so.

So, generally speaking MM has all these features, but more automated than in iTunes, you don't have to set them individually for each track, but rather specify them based on filter rules.

Hiya.. any comments from developers regarding these iPod functions making it to MM some time in the future?

This is a feature in iTunes that you can apply to a track so that when you have your iPod set to shuffle all of your songs, it WON'T play that song. For example, I apply this setting to live albums, so those tracks won't play when I shuffle all of my songs.

One of the first things I looked for when I came here was saving equalizer presets and settings per track. I found it wasn't a feature (disappointing coming from Winamp) and didn't find anything scriptwise. Perhaps you know of something I don't?
I just know that it COULD be done, if there was an interest. That doesn't mean anyone has made it yet, though. (and they haven't to my knowledge). This would only adjust the volume, though, not necessarily keep equalizer information.
Ah, too bad.

True, but you can't save equalizer settings on a 'per track' basis, which is what (I think) he's asking for.
Ah, that's true. Something MM is also lacking. :-?

Thanks for your replies, but I wasn't specific enough.. I meant for these features to be available when I'm using my iPod standalone, not just when playing via MM.. So basically a way to set those 'flags' or whatever they are from within MM, as can be done from iTunes (rightclicking on a song..).

BuckNaked wrote:Hi,

In iTunes there's a few settings for songs I use quite frequently, such as
- Remember last played position
- Skip during random play
- Part of an album without gaps
(Translated from Swedish so they might not be named exactly that)

Is there any way to set those via MediaMonkey?

Oh, and the same goes for the Volume adjustment.. I know it can be done using MM's leveling and such but sometimes it's nice to just louden a track to 120% or whatever..

Cheers, BN

(Hope this is the correct forum, if not I'd appreciate if an admin moves it..)
Not sure what you mean by 'skip during random play' or 'part of an album without gaps'.

For the second one, do you mean gapless playback? You can enable this in the output plugin configuration, disable crossfading and enable 'remove silence at the beginning/ending of tracks.'

EDIT: oh and volume adjustment is not possible with MM only. There might be a script to edit volume levels manually, but I'm really not sure.

MM can do this if you have the Gold edition. Check File -> Manage Filters and go to configuration. Enable 'bookmarking'.
