Thx--added to our todo list.

Because I don't like the 'artist & album artist' node, I have disabled it indeed. It would be nice if there would be a setting where you can set your preferred node for the shortcut, as you mention. :D

You could also let the shortcut check which node is enabled, and then show the first node that is enabled. In that case the focus would work. This wouldn't fix my problem though, because I would like it to go to the Album Artist node....

Thanx for you answer,

the shortcut opens the 'artist & album artist' node, so if you have that hidden, then that is probably why it doesn't seem to work.

this is likely to be this way because that is how MM 2 worked (and how I would expect it to work).

perhaps a user preference or multiple shortcuts should be available, but /shrug

Same behavior here.

No response so far. Am I the only one who has this problem?

V3.0.3.1140 Artist node hotkey can fail (4742)

When I click the tree shortcut button of artist (or hit F8), the artist node doesn't get the focus, and the tree isn't expanded.
All the other tree-shortcut buttons do work fine; Genre, Playlist.

When I click the tree shortcut button of artist, I do see something happaning: All tracks are being shown in the middle track window. Only the Focus to the tree doesn't function. Gathering all files takes about 5 seconds.

I am running MM 3.0.3.1140 on Vista Ultimate 64 with 50.000 tracks.

Grtz SuperFrodo.
