Different modes have been suggested. One of them would limit the actions of users to pretty much select and play, which would be very suitable for public events so MM could work as a jukebox.

The developpers welcomed these ideas and might implemented more modes in a future version of MM.

its already in there. you can configure what will happen by doubleclick: edit oder play. check the configmenu in MM. cheers. :)

i don't know if some one suggest this.
what i would like to see is to be able to select a play mode or edit mode.
here why !
some time i click on song in the list to play it and then i'm in edit mode and then
could write or modify the information of the tag.
it could be a other user that change the tag.
i would like to get a play mode so the tag can not be change or modify.
