Note: on 1164, editing the title of an MP3 causes

Artist ";" to be deleted
Artist "a;" to be changed to "a"
Artist "a;Grumph" to be changed to "a/Grumph"

in both the MM display and the tags written back to disc.

Dang it!!!
Me and the boys are going to have to re-think our band name!
Thought that "The Semi-Colons" would be just edgy enough for us to get noticed!

in MP3 Artist, Album Artist, Genre and I guess a few other properties too.

E.g.

1) when I view a track with Artist containing ';', MM shows instead '; '
2) when I view a track with Genre ending ';', MM removes the ';'
3) when I Add/Recan a track with Artist containing ';' in the (compound name of a single artist), MM fails to file the track under that Artist name

I guess the above are unforseen consequences of MM's reuse of ';' as a multiple-value separator. Since this non-standards-compliant use obstructs standards-compliant use of ';' as a literal character, I really hope it will get fixed soon.
