I was able to reproduce the problem in some specific cases, it will be fixed in the next release.

Thanks,
Jiri

What exact iPod model and firmware do you have? This was fixed recently to work correctly and tested with several iPods.

iPhone do not ignore prefixes as "the" after sync

I'm using version 1159, and have discovered a bug.

I just got my iPhone and wanted to use MediaMonkey to sync my music. It works fine, but I have one problem. When it's an artist that begin with "the", something weird is happening
As you know, iPhone sorts the music alphabetical and it's a list with A, B, C etc. But when the first artist that begins with "the" shows up, the letter T are showing up.

I can take an example:

A
Afroman
Air
Agregat
B
Bad Religion
Barthezz
Basement Jaxx
C
Camron
Canibus
Cannibal OX
T----------------------------------<- When THE Carburetors are coming up, the letter T shows up!
The Carburetors
Capleton------------------------<- And here, the C-list continues on T, which comes between B and C on iPhone, but absolutely not in the alphabet.
Captain Jack
D
Damian Marley
Datarock
The Dave Pike Set-------------<- The rest of the "THE"-artists works as it should. It's only the first that is the problem.
....
S
Second Run
Secret Machines
Talib Kweli
Tears For Fears
U --------------------------------<- Now we have a new problem again. The T which should be between the S and U doesn't appear to be there. The artists on T are there, but no T shows up.
Underground Rise
Uniting Nations

Is this a bug or is it something I haven't understood yet? :-)
