That got it...

It was a plugin..cover display plugin from winamp.

Thanks again for all the help.

You can e-mail log of this error, but it doesn't sound like MM problem to me, it rather looks like it's problem of some plug-in. Have you tried to start without plug-ins?

Jiri

Thanks for getting that...

Sorry I was traveling the last few days and am away from my home computer. It was 2.3 RC1, which I guess you know by now.

Do you still need a debug log for the WinAmp Video error, or is there another fix for that?

The error will be fixed in the next release. Thanks for the log!

Jiri, I'm curious but possible error will be as MM Scan "%My Documents%\My Music\MediaMonkey\" during scan of My Music Folder, but it should be ignored?

The debug build really wasn't fully uploaded to the server, it's fixed now so please try it again.

Re: Error on db scan

by Pablo » Tue Feb 08, 2005 4:41 am

I was able to replicate this in build 839 (the first time I noticed it was in the earlier betas). I tried to download the debug build, but when I open the installer I get the error message:
The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.

Error on db scan

cbuzz (and everyone else),

Does this error occur with MM 2.2.2, or only 2.3.1 RC-2?

Somebody please send a log of this!!

Thx.

If anyone can reproduce it, I'd like to see a debug log of it.

Thanks,
Jiri

I had the same database error on a few of my tracks (when rescanning to the Library. Happened to 2 or 3 tracks out of 7000). I didn't think it was a big deal, but since other people experienced the same I just wanted to mention it.

I had this happen earlier this weekend as well. I hoped it was just a problem with the beta version I was running, so I ignored it.

Hmm.

2 Errors that I can't track down...

by cbuzz » Sun Feb 06, 2005 2:27 pm

First error occurs during startup:

"Fatal Error: Winamp Video Window Not found!"

I can cancel out of it and it continues to MM without any problems.

Second error occurs when scanning my music folder. It happens 3 or 4 times during the scan...

"There was a problem querying the database:
23000:[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] You cannot add or change a record because a related record is required in table 'Songs'."

I look at the song it appears to be scanning in the Access database and everything looks ok. I really don't want to clear out the database and star over because of all the organization work I've done with it.

Thanks in advance
