Thanks for the quick reply, but yeah i figured it out about half hour ago.

Thanks, and thanks again. Haven't tested out the script yet, but I'll get there. Any script to search for multiple artwork tagged to tracks and delete them just leaving the one?

Thanks, thanks and thanks again from New Zealand =)

Clap back,

I think if you restart MM it should be in the tools --> scripts --> Fix Cover Type Unknown

Make sure you are on a node that has tracks displayed

[EDIT] Re itunes last played search for "Fake Play"

Hey, thanks for a great script. But how do i get it to work? lol
I've used a few MM scripts, but all were *.mmip. I'm a newbie to MM, just crossed the Apple border, now im on Monkey Island :)

I've copied and pasted the code into a *.vbs file and put that in the /scripts/auto folder. And I don't know what to do? I've read through the posts on this thread and can't find anything about it? Please help? Sorry to be a pain :)

And just a quick question, does anyone know, off by hand, a script that would import the LastPlayed field from iTunes? When i imported my music, it brought the PlayCount along with it, but not the LastPlayed info for tracks, and my database looks a bit empty with that whole field missing ('cept for when i play it in MM)

Thanks in advance,

I don't know if restoring the db is the cause of my problems because I had this problem prior to using any kind of db restorations. This seems to happen to tracks which I haven't touched in months as well as tracks which get alot of usage and it's been going on for months, I've just been fixing them whenever I was in the mood and ignoring them when I wasn't. But look at my last post in the TI forum, hopefully that might help me find the offending tracks.

Actually I can't imagine how this is possible unless you remove the art outside of MM.

Hopefully the new script will identify them asap and perhaps indicate when it happens for the devs.

This won't work because outside the db, there is no art. Or inside for that matter, the db just thinks there is art attached. If you can't get the script to remove the cover references, I can work around that as long as there is a way to identify them. That is going to interesting to figure out. :x I'm sorry to lay this one on you, if you don't have the time, it's ok, I'll just keep ignoring them and fix them whenever I come across them.

This will be very difficult to figure out since I use so many scripts. :(

Hehehe some typo Bex, Trix --> MoD
Actuallly no. It was this script I had in mind.
(But I had forgotten what it did exactly.)

No, Trixmoto was mentioned for the Album Art Tagger script, but it is not working to fix my problem. Here's the quote from the Tagging Inconsistencies script:

Code: Select all

That's album art with a "dead link". Have you tried trixi's album art tagger? It should have a function to remove these dead entries. MoDementia as well as Onkel_Enno have made similar scripts. Try to find them if not AAR does the trick.
I ended up finding a workaround for some of the tracks by adding an image in batch and then removing the image from the tracks. But this problem keeps cropping up so I need to find a way to easily identify them and fix them.

Nyn, did you ever try AAT and process: 07. Remove artwork which is invalid?
It says it should: Removing images with dead links or zero filesize.
Where zero filesize would be applicable here.

Got it, this might not be the script to modify though :(

I'll see what I can do
